Description: The Extended Abstracts of the International Kimberlite Conference have long been a source of valuable scientific information on kimberlites, diamonds and Earth’s mantle. Many of these 3 to 5 page abstracts have become very well cited over time. Increasingly, it had become difficult to source copies of some of the older abstract volumes, despite on-going need to refer to them and to cite articles within them. The purpose of this journal is to create a permanent, readily accessible and citable archive of these valuable contributions, as a record of the progress in kimberlite-related research since the instigation of the first IKC in Cape Town, 1973.

The Kule Institute for Advanced Study facilitated the redevelopment of the journal at the University of Alberta. For two decades, the International Review of Information Ethics (IRIE) has led the field in exploring new frontiers of ethics and technology. Having covered topics ranging from robotics to religion, IRIE has ventured into some of the most thought-provoking conversations of the digital age.

Description: The Agora: Political Science Undergraduate Journal is an online peer reviewed journal that publishes scholarly work done by undergraduates in the field of political science. Following in the tradition of peer-reviewed academic journals, The Agora seeks to represent the finest work of undergraduate students in the field of political science. For undergraduate students, the opportunity to showcase, edit, and publish written work is often limited. In response to this, this journal was launched to provide an outlet for students to submit and review academic papers outside of the traditional student-teacher relationship. The Agora has two objectives: to give undergraduate students a chance to have their scholarly work published and to involve students in the process of peer-review. Ultimately, The Agora aims to provide a valuable academic experience for students in a professional publication format.

Description: aboriginal policy studies is an online, peer-reviewed and multidisciplinary journal that, on a bi-annual basis, publishes original, scholarly, and policy relevant research on issues relevant to Métis, non-status Indians and urban Aboriginal peoples in Canada. We encourage the submission of articles by and for a wide audience of scholars, researchers, community activists, and policymakers. Though focused on the Canadian milieu, we welcome comparative work from an international Indigenous context pertinent to Canadian readers. A similarly broad scope of methodological approaches is encouraged.
