The National Library and Information System Authority (NALIS) is responsible for the development and coordination of library services throughout Trinidad and Tobago. This includes all public libraries, school libraries as well as special libraries in government institutions, and the Heritage Library. NALIS’ Heritage Library provides the services identified by IFLA which are associated with preservation of the complete collection of material emanating from and relating to Trinidad and Tobago.

Tobago Festivals 2020-2023

The island of Tobago has a unique culture which is exhibited in its festivals. They are infused with Dutch, French Creole, British, West African and contemporary influences. These influences can be seen in the food, dance, folklore and unique activities which have become, in many instances annual calendar events. The festivals are a reflection of the diverse cultural heritage which is embraced and shared by Tobagonians to this day. This collection reflects the festivities celebrated between the years 2020 to 2023.
